What to see in Egypt

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

If you are planning a trip to Egypt, the United Kingdom as an Operations Manager for One World Tours in the United Kingdom, here is my top ten list of places to visit and see and do in Egypt .. .

1. The pyramids of Giza. Appear this May, but the visit is not the only option. You can run the camels, which surrounds them, and perhaps the most spectacular of them to visit and during the night and the great Sound and Light Show Pyramids. In the darkness of the night, the Sphinx is bright and tells the story of the pyramid. In addition, a fantastic soundtrack of theater and dance all the laser on the pyramids. The show is a must.

2. King tuts mask. The mask of the child king, everything depends on the person to believe. The trajectories of the work is one thing, but there is only a miracle “aura” of peace to this artifact. Words can not describe what you feel like you are in front of her.

3. Abu Simbel. It is a real history and the present to ask. The past is obvious, but how one days to ask, not everyone is aware that this structure was moved to make room for Lake Nasser. This fact alone is worth the trip from Aswan, so you see it.

4. Valley of the Kings. Personally I would love to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings is a real website. Despite their close connection with the death, there is a feeling of peace there. It should be noted that all the graves to be seen. Tickets you get to the graves 3 and you can be a supplement to the other and for the king tuts grave too. On the 3rd, we recommend that you visit Ramses I and Ramses III Thoutmosis VI.

5. Temple of Luxor. This temple is situated on the banks of the River Nile and is an excellent place for a stroll in peace. Paradoxically view from this place can also be seen from the second floor opposite the McDonalds – sorry it’s true!

6. A Felukenfahrt sail on the Nile. Better in Luxor (opposite the entrance to the Luxor Temple) is a pleasure, but simply fantastic. We recommend that you position at the beginning of the afternoon, because the river a host Member State, the rest from the heat, but mainly because the return will be a sunset on the Nile, and this is something that does not miss.

7. Temple of Karnak. This temple can be visited, either by day and by night. If you have two, both, but if you can do once, it does at night. Karnak Temple is a large and beautiful and is on and if you take a walk through history and the story runs, you’re really in a different time and place. The Final Act is on a lake, where the temple is surprising and reads in the waters ahead.

8. Diving in the Red Sea. Scuba diving in places such as Hurghada, Dahab and Sharm el-Sheikh is one of the best in the world and if you are a beginner, or better said that the Riviera of the Red Sea!

9. Dinner Nile Cruise (Cairo). Well a bit clichéd, but if you hit this, then a ride on the river Nile in Cairo is to be the point. The horizon is on and the cruise ship to head into the dark water, are you sure that you have a romantic evening that you will never forget.

Constituency 10, with a Camel. He just do! The best sites are the Pyramids on the western shore of the Nile in Luxor. Here it can be very well in conjunction with a trip on the Nile in felucca (see camels for a walk in the afternoon).
