Why this site?
The goal of this site is the creation of an information and resources for people like me who think, live or work in a town in Spain where free advice about many aspects and problems that you encounter us build on our own experiences. Top of freedom advice and information can be found on this website, we also offer a range of services, which we hope to allow you, as soon as possible.
Who are we?
We arrived in Spain with the intention of learning the language and then to find a job once the language was at the height. Originally, the plan was for a stay of about 6 months and then back in England. Since I have our goal in Valencia, because I wanted to work in a big city, but wanted to avoid in Barcelona and Madrid, that the cost of the rent is relatively high in comparison (although still cheaper than most places in England!). Valencia was an excellent choice because it will quickly become one of the most modern and in the future of cities in Europe. There is so much to see and do and this time the prices of goods are still quite cheap (but expect prices to rise as the city increasingly popular).
When I arrived here, I speak little Spanish, and knew nobody. I am armed with a very serious case and the intention to find an apartment, but I have my first adventure, a few nights in a hostel (there are many in Valencia). The house is great that the place was full of passengers, most were able to speak English when I successfully recommendations of where my search for an apartment. It seems that the best way to do something to find, was to take a walk along the streets and note of the ad that people in the trees and lanterns, then, what I have done ..
The best place to look to the students is the city, but usually you’ll find not believe that the advertising of rooms in apartments to share, while I needed a place to live in me. The other option is the head of an estate agent, but now it cost a month’s rent of estate agents costs, if you desperately avoid during the campaign. At the end I was able to find something. By pure luck, I met a student in English, made his home the next day, but if it is not for them, I do not know what I did. I expect that I have teeth and go through the past, but also would have been difficult with my very little Spanish!
